BIOGRAPHY


Ismael Oliveira,  São Paulo (SP) , 1961.

In 1981 started photographic experiments and his first studies in cinema and fine arts.

In 1985 made his first solo show at Cultural Center of São Paulo and took part at group show 3rd Saloon Paulista of Contemporary Art.

In parallel develops teaching activities in arts and cinema giving workshops and courses.

Studied fine arts with Wesley Duke Lee, Antonio Hélio Cabral, Rubens Gerchman, Marco Giannotti, Carlos Fajardo, Antonio Peticov, Abraham Palatinik José Barreto among others.

From 1997 dedicated himself to the production of works in drawings and paintings.

In 2001 started a postgraduate course in Fine Arts at School of Communications and Arts – USP São Paulo, where he accomplished 42 credits.

Since 1997 have been constantly exhibiting in Brazil and abroad.

Also have been directing documentary videos bout visual artists named Obra Viva (Life Work).

Ismael Oliveira is a photographer, filmmaker and visual artist.
